Super cool campaign, that uses really simple measures to create awareness and controversy around the changes in climate. It calls out the politicians that effectively stop progressive environmental legislation. Well done!
I just love what American Express is doing with their Foursquare deals. Very smart and innovative thinking. And this is another great example of how a credit card company can communicate very effectively by doing something that is actually relevant to so many people and businesses and increasing use of card in the process. And very cool that they actually provide small business the template to build websites, mobile platforms and promotional items. They got the right idea at Crispin Porter and AMEX. Again.
This is a very good idea from the danish (and Russian) 2010 Future Lions finalists. Extremely simple. Donate the 5 cents round up to a whole amount…from $9.95 to $10.00 to a worthy cause. Many small amounts become something substantial. Easy and very executable. Do it people. Good work to the team Vera karpova (CW) & Thomas Ilum (AD).
Having my morning coffe on saturday, i stumbled upon this brilliant Gevalia ad while reading the papers. And when I say brilliant, I mean brilliant. This is the best corporate/ngo partnership I’ve seen since I dont know when. Let me tell you why:
Coffee producer Gevalia since 1987 , which is as long as I remember, been running campaign with the slogan “Hvilken kaffe byder du uventede gæster?” (“Which coffee do you offer unexpected guests?”).
Trying to make people sign up as Red Cross Visitors, Gevalia have begun running the ad above, the text saying “Not everyone is granted the joy of unexpected guests”. The ads are accompagnied by a shopping mall-tour in weeks 10-13, you talk to REd Cross visitors while you have a cup of Gevalia Coffe. Moreover, Gevalia donate1 dkr each time you buy one of their 500.000 red cross-marked cans of coffee.

Clownfish gave a very positive presentation about green marketing and how it is important to have a positive net impact on the environment for businesses and how we are still very bad at commercializing this aspect for our clients. I agree with it all but there was nothing ground breaking in the presentation so I won’t wastes your time.
