For quite some time Blackberry and Apple been racing to win the we-produce-the-coolest-upscale-phone award. I neither own a Blackberry nor an Iphone, so I’m not the one to judge. But if Blackberry had aired this simple-but-great commercial, i’d give them my applause. But they didn’t. Might have been a bit to risky to pull such an ‘agressive’  ad. But it’s a great example of the power of symbols:

I’m already looking forward to the never-to-be-aired An-apple-completely-and-utterly-smashes-and-destroys-a-blackberry ad. Would even be possible without the use of special effects!
